News Site GroundReport Honored for Social Entrepreneurship
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 10, 2007 -- Leading citizen journalism platform GroundReport has been chosen to participate in the 2007 Waldzell Meeting, an invitation-only conference on inspiring global change. GroundReport will attend as an "Architect of the Future," in a program developed to recognize young leaders in social entrepreneurship. The theme of the 2007 Waldzell Meeting, held outside Vienna in the historic Benedictine Abbey of Melk, is "What is our legacy?"
GroundReport strives to democratize the news media by removing barriers to participation. Confirmed speakers at the 2007 Waldzell Meeting include His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, architect Frank Gehry and author Paul Coelho. The Austrian-based Waldzell Institute brings together "people who have made remarkable contributions to the fields of science, art, politics, the economy and spirituality, with the great decision makers of the day and to come."
